1. Overview

Every product sold on SecurityCart.in carries a warranty against manufacturing defects for a fixed period from the date of delivery. This policy explains what that warranty covers, how long it lasts by product type, and the steps to get a defective item repaired or replaced. It applies alongside β€” and does not replace β€” the return window described in our Return & Refund Policy, which covers a separate, shorter window right after delivery.

2. Warranty Period

Warranty duration is set by the manufacturer and varies by product category. As a general guide:

The exact warranty period for the product you're buying is always listed on its product page and printed on your invoice β€” that figure takes precedence over the general guide above.

3. What's Covered

The warranty covers manufacturing defects that appear during normal, intended use β€” for example, a camera sensor failing on its own, a DVR that won't power on despite correct wiring, or a hard disk that stops being detected without any physical damage.

5. How to Claim Warranty

To raise a warranty claim, contact our support team with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video if the fault is visible. Our team will run a remote diagnosis first β€” many issues turn out to be wiring or configuration related and can be fixed without a full claim. If a genuine defect is confirmed, we'll coordinate repair or replacement with the manufacturer or our service partner on your behalf. You can also start this process directly from your My Orders page, or through our Warranty Claim Assistance service.

6. Manufacturer vs. Seller Warranty

Most products are covered directly by the manufacturer's warranty (CP Plus, Hikvision, Dahua, and other brands each run their own service network). SecurityCart.in acts as your point of contact and coordinates the claim so you don't have to deal with the manufacturer's process directly β€” but the underlying terms, timelines, and repair/replace decision are ultimately set by the manufacturer's warranty policy for that product.
